Precision PC Build Agreement

Last Updated: November 2025

This Build Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Precision PC, LLC (“Builder”) and the Customer (“Client”) for the purpose of designing and assembling a custom-built computer system. By approving a quote, submitting a form, or submitting payment, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Work

Precision PC, LLC will source, assemble, configure, and test a custom computer based on the specifications discussed and approved by the Client. Services may include:

  • Component sourcing and compatibility verification
  • Professional system assembly and cable management
  • BIOS and firmware configuration
  • Operating system installation and optimization
  • Driver installation, testing, and quality assurance

2. Build Fee and Payment

Each custom build includes a standard build fee of $200 or 20% of the total build cost (whichever is less). This fee covers all assembly and setup labor. The build fee will be included in the quoted total and will not exceed the Client’s stated budget.

Payment is accepted via PayPal or other approved methods. A deposit or full payment may be required prior to part procurement, depending on the total value of the build. Once payment is received and parts are ordered, the sale becomes final.

3. Parts and Availability

All components are sourced from reputable suppliers and verified as new and genuine. Due to market fluctuations and availability, specific components may become unavailable or experience price changes. In such cases, the Builder may substitute components with equal or higher-quality parts of comparable value and performance. The Client will be notified of any substitutions prior to final assembly whenever possible.

4. Assembly Timeline

Most builds are completed within 5–10 business days after all parts arrive. Delays may occur due to part availability, shipping times, or special requests. Clients will be updated throughout the process.

5. Warranty and Support

Each build includes a 15-day limited warranty covering assembly workmanship and configuration. This warranty does not cover component failures, user damage, software issues, or third-party interference. All hardware components include their respective manufacturer warranties, which must be processed directly through the manufacturer.

6. Delivery and Risk of Loss

Precision PC offers local pickup, local delivery, and U.S. shipping. Systems are fully tested prior to handoff. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Client upon pickup, delivery, or shipment. The Builder is not responsible for transit-related damage caused by shipping carriers.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Because each build is custom and parts are ordered specifically for the Client, cancellations are only accepted before parts are purchased. Once procurement begins, all sales are final. Refunds may be issued solely at the Builder’s discretion in cases of confirmed assembly error or component defect under the warranty period.

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing accurate information about their intended use, budget, and performance requirements. Precision PC is not responsible for unmet performance expectations based on incomplete or inaccurate information.

9. Limitation of Liability

Precision PC, LLC shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use a built system. The total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the build.

10. Right to Refuse Service

Precision PC, LLC reserves the right to decline or cancel any build request, quote, or order at its sole discretion. This may occur due to component availability, pricing changes, technical limitations, or other business considerations. In such cases, any payments or deposits received for the declined order will be refunded in full.

Reasons for rejection may or may not be disclosed at the time of notification.

11. Agreement Acceptance

By submitting a build request, approving a quote, submitting payment, or providing written confirmation, the Client acknowledges that they have read and agree to the terms of this Build Agreement. Acceptance of this Agreement constitutes authorization for Precision PC, LLC to begin the sourcing, assembly, and configuration process for the specified system. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
